Last June Connor was the reigning Prince at the Illinois High School All Star Shrine Game in Bloomington, IL at Wesleyan University. Savannah shared responsibilities as the Princess. It was a great weekend for Connor, Savannah and their families. Kelly spoke at the dinner on Friday evening about what it means to be part of the Shriners Hospitals family, especially the Chicago Hospital. Connor and Savannah reigned over the Walk for Love and the Football game on Saturday. Pictures are posted on the Gallery Page in the 2016 All Star Game Album.
In December Connor and Family were invited to 2016 to Whirleyball for Shriners Hospitals for Children-Chicago featuring cast members from the hit TV drama “Chicago Fire”. Attending were Joe Minosa (Joe Cruz), Eamonn Walker (Chief Wallace), David Eigenberg (Christopher Herrmann) and others. The cast was awesome! They spent so much time with the patients and their families signing autographs, playing games, snacking, etc. The cast truly cares about these kids and the hospital…It was another great memory for Connor and other patients!
Connor’s summer was busy with swimming and golf. Fall found Connor playing organized tackle football with his brother Jack. He has been waiting a long time for this! Then onto to basketball season, which is just finish up. Spring soccer will begin in a few weeks.
